Nestled just off the highway in the middle of the Interlake, sits a modest farm property where our couple Jenna & Daryl, along with their 2 young daughters, have put down their roots. It seemed only fitting that they would decide to hold their intimate, family filled, ceremony right on the property. The weather was perfect for this mid September wedding and made it possible for Jenna & Daryl to have their big motorcycle exit. One of the things that really touched me about Jenna & Daryl’s wedding is finding out why Daryl grows his hair so long (see their engagement photos here) I’ve always known Daryl to have longer hair so I never thought to read more in to the fact that he had cut his hair other than he wanted to have shorter hair for the wedding. I found out that evening that Daryl’s father had passed away from Cancer. A void that is very much still present throughout the Steinthorson family. Daryl grows his hair and cuts it when it’s long enough to donate for Cancer wigs. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when his mom and sister were speaking of the good times and the things they continue to do in Mr. Earl Steinthorson’s memory.
Here are a few of our absolute favorites from their wedding. Thank you Jenna, Daryl, and your families for having us be a part of this amazing day.
